Your Body Knows Best

How to Listen to Your Body

I don't know how many times I've heard people say that they "feel" something is wrong with them. They hear their heart beat in their ears, they feel their blood flow

in their veins, and they can almost smell their breath. They don't feel the need to do anything about it. What is the reason? What can you do to help? We hear it all the time, "Listen to your body!" We should follow the way we feel. What is this really saying? And how do we do that? So now what will we do? What types of feelings am I listening to? It could be physical feelings like stomach pain or tired feet. Is it emotional feelings like worry, doubt or indecision?

Its your Body not your Cognition

There are two different layers of feeling at work. One feels in your core, in your nature, in your body. The other is your psychology, imprinted on top of everything else. We can keep ourselves busy by following our psychology. We collect a lot of information and advice. It is critical for proper decision-making. Sometimes, the decisions don't happen. We're trapped in worry, self-doubt and second-guessing. We don't believe in decisions we make enough to allow them to live.

There's a different kind of feeling, fortunately. It's not paralyzed, but it is activated. It's a little closer to the pain in your stomach. Is it true that you have heard of trusting your gut? It's good advice, that's what it is. How do you know when your intuition is telling you something? How can you tell the difference between the part of you that creates healthy and inspired acts and the part of you that is thinking about how to find that part of you? It's a good idea to stop thinking about it for a second. You need to keep your mouth shut. You need to be sensitive to your surroundings. You'll find your ability to act and your intuition when you feel that feeling in your body. You already know that it isn't on your shelves or waiting for you in the next guru convention. It's time to look somewhere other than here. All of the time, your body is sending you messages. You do not need to reason them, logic them, or intellectualize them. You just need to do something about them.

You are Important! Aches and Pain are Normal but Pay Attention

"You are important" is what your body is telling you. If you've spent a lot of time ignoring how you feel, then you're not interested in listening to those lines of communication. The body makes a noise. You can turn off your volume. You must be aware that you hit the button. Don't worry, you will notice. You will feel the ache. The anguish.

As you get older, your body may start to ache or feel stiff and achy. It’s normal, and there are things you can do to help ease these symptoms.

The most common knee problems are tendinitis, bursitis and arthritis. But, don’t be fooled by what you may have read or heard about these conditions. There are many other factors that can contribute to knee pain, including a lack of physical activity, bad posture, and a weak knee joint. If you are experiencing knee pain, you need to see your doctor.

Under stress can really get to you. You might notice that you don't have as much energy. There are things that bother you now. You should step up your stress management. Taking breaks from stress is one of the things that helps.

Do you toss or turn at night? Your body is telling you to get more sleep. Go to bed and get up at the same time every day and sleep at least 7 hours a night. Don't check your phone or watch TV in your bedroom. Being active during the day helps. It's a good idea to avoid big meals and drink too much. Ask your doctor what the problem might be.

Your Body Protects You - Listen to It

The more you accept what your body is saying to you, the better it is for you. You are protected by that. It keeps you in good shape. It helps you stay safe. Your body is beautiful. Don't let thoughts get in the way of listening to your body scream. When you get a cold or flu your body tries to tell you something. What does your body want you to know? It wants you to pay attention to it. You will get sick if you don't listen. The more you learn about your body the better it is for you. Your body records pain, injury, fear, scars, pleasure, good moods, positive vibes and so forth.

Your body knows what's best for itself and you. When you body is health, you are calm, more aware, more present. You can improve and transform yourself to do good for yourself and for the people around you. Your inner self is balance. You journey towards your self-actualization.
